PUBLICATION DESIGN

UNLOCK HUNDARMAN

JUNE, 2016

Hundarman, a village abandoned after the Indo- Pak war of 1971 and since then it is lying vacant. Through the medium of art and design the workshop created a dialogue on displacement of people and culture. All the ideas and research was culminated into a comprehensive exhibition which was open to locals and tourists. I as a part of the workshop was responsible for project conceptualization and editorial design, focusing on combining traditional and eco friendly methods for the exhibition. I worked on the visual communication and the publication of the project which was inspired by the unique structures, artefacts and landscape of Hundarman.

This project was done while volunteering with Roots collective / in collaboration with CEPT University Ahmedabad.
